It's hard to believe that I am in my twelfth season of living and working in Luxor for six months of the year. And in May of 2015 this blog turned eight! I can only hope that I will have the good fortune to return to Egypt for many years to come.

ReplyDeleteWill always respond to your postings. On V-Day I helped with a dinner at the American Legion Hall--hosted most of my kids. I really enjoy your musings. Shakespeare Club is studying the California myth and what brings people here. I was on the October program with Pat Murray and Audrey Doehne--the book was John Muir's 1st Summer in the Sierra. The Feb. program was Day of the Locust. Had a fabulous presentation--Pat Pavao, and two new members. The hospitality committee provided amazing V-day goodies. I am leaving the 26th of this month for Mazatlan--for 3 1/2 weeks. The Readers' Theatre I had going for a summer fell by the way-side. I got tired of being the do-er and wanted some else to be in charge. No one would. Oh, well. Have a wonderful Spring, Marie. I think of you often.
