It's hard to believe that I am in my twelfth season of living and working in Luxor for six months of the year. And in May of 2015 this blog turned eight! I can only hope that I will have the good fortune to return to Egypt for many years to come.

Now That's a Bloomin' Bloom!
Happy Easter Monday to All!
The Chicago House rose garden is doing an astonishing job of putting out blossoms. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen such an overwhelming display in all the 12 seasons I've spent here. And the fragrance? Remarkable!
