It's hard to believe that I am in my twelfth season of living and working in Luxor for six months of the year. And in May of 2015 this blog turned eight! I can only hope that I will have the good fortune to return to Egypt for many years to come.

ReplyDeleteVery nice Marie, and very interesting. So what's changed, agricultural practices? I once climbed Thoth Hill in thick fog that obscured the whole valley for most of the day which I presume was the result of water vapour rising from highly irrigated fields.
ReplyDeleteNot really sure. Some say it's because the weather patterns have changed and there is more European weather headed our way; others say it's because of the increase in cultivated area. All I really know is that it makes for gorgeous sunsets!
